by NU Preliminary to Master’s Exam on July 16 Postponed Due to Floods; New Date Announced
The National University of Bangladesh has postponed the 2023 Preliminary to Master’s Examination, which was scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, the decision was taken due to severe flooding in various parts of the country caused by heavy rainfall and upstream mountain runoff.
Rescheduled Date: The postponed exam has been rescheduled to August 11, 2026 (Tuesday).
The university authority clarified that all other examinations under the National University will proceed as per the previously announced schedule (Memo No. NU/Exam/Ma.To.M/2019/451, dated June 3, 2026). Students are advised to keep an eye on the official website (nu.ac.bd) for further updates.

ভারী বর্ষণ এবং উজান থেকে নেমে আসা পাহাড়ি ঢলের কারণে দেশের বিভিন্ন এলাকা প্লাবিত হওয়ায় জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অধীন আগামী ১৬ জুলাই ২০২৬ (বৃহস্পতিবার) অনুষ্ঠিতব্য ২০২৩ সালের প্রিলিমিনারি টু মাস্টার্স পরীক্ষা স্থগিত করা হয়েছে।
বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পরীক্ষা নিয়ন্ত্রণ দপ্তর থেকে প্রকাশিত এক অফিস আদেশ বা নোটিশের মাধ্যমে এই সিদ্ধান্তের কথা জানানো হয়।
নতুন সময়সূচী: ১৬/০৭/২০২৬ তারিখের স্থগিতকৃত এই পরীক্ষাটি আগামী ১১ আগস্ট ২০২৬ (মঙ্গলবার) পরিবর্তিত তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
কর্তৃপক্ষ জানিয়েছে, পূর্ব ঘোষিত সময়সূচী (স্মারক নং- জাতী:বি:/পরী:/মাপি/২০১৯/৪৫১, তারিখ: ০৩/০৬/২০২৬) অনুযায়ী অন্যান্য সকল পরীক্ষা যথারীতি অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। পরীক্ষার্থীদের যেকোনো জরুরি তথ্যের জন্য জাতীয় বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অফিসিয়াল ওয়েবসাইট (nu.ac.bd) অনুসরণ করার পরামর্শ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
